Chongqing Lender Concludes Issuance of Five Billion Yuan Green Debt

On September 10, a financial market update revealed that Bank Of Chongqing Co.,Ltd. has completed the issuance of its 2026 inaugural green financial bonds. The book-building process took place on September 8, 2026, with the bonds officially issued on September 10, 2026.

The bonds are structured as three-year fixed-rate instruments, carrying a total principal amount of RMB 5 billion. The coupon rate has been set at 1.59% for the entire tenure.

According to the company's announcement, after deducting issuance-related expenses, the net proceeds from these bonds will be allocated to green industry projects as defined in the "Green Financial Support Project Catalogue (2025 Edition)", subject to applicable laws and regulatory approvals. Priority for fund deployment will be given to initiatives that align with the "Common Ground Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance", ensuring that the raised capital supports environmentally sustainable development objectives in compliance with both national and international standards.
