China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology unveiled on Wednesday the 15th Five-Year Plan for the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry, setting a comprehensive agenda toward 2030.
According to the official document, the plan establishes one overarching objective accompanied by four specific targets for the coming years.
The primary goal focuses on achieving high-level automated driving on highways, urban expressways, and select city roads by the end of the decade, marking a significant step toward widespread autonomous mobility.
