The company repurchased 373,358 shares at prices between GBP 10.165 and GBP 10.300 for about GBP 3.83 million under the 2025 mandate, and 266,795 shares at the same price range for approximately GBP 2.73 million under the 2026 mandate. All shares are to be cancelled.
Following the cancellation of shares repurchased earlier on Sep, 03 2026, Prudential’s issued share capital stood at 2,493,490,332 ordinary shares as of Sep, 07 2026, down from 2,494,162,286 shares. An additional 1,301,927 shares repurchased on Sep, 04 and Sep, 07 2026 remain to be cancelled.
The company is barred from issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares until Oct, 07 2026 under the 30-day moratorium that follows the latest repurchases.
