At the 2026 Converged Intelligence Industry Development Conference, held on September 9th in Wuhan's Optics Valley and co-hosted by the Converged Intelligence Industry Innovation Center and Hubei Science & Technology Investment, Octopus Dynamics co-founder Fan Qingyuan shared his insights on the transformative power of large language models. He noted that with the arrival of ChatGPT in 2023 and the realization of large language models, intelligent multi-task and cross-task invocation has become a reality.

Fan explained that since the emergence of AI coding, the productivity of the digital world can be invoked more easily, affordably, and at a lower cost. He emphasized that large models have significantly enhanced AI coding capabilities, which has truly broken through the bottleneck of large-scale productivity invocation in the digital realm.

"In the physical world, we believe there also exists a similar API interface," Fan stated. "By using embodied large models to drive a dexterous execution end, we can build the infrastructure for physical world productivity. This would allow physical AI to be called upon simply and efficiently. We often say that today's abundant world is shaped by intelligent minds and dexterous hands—this indeed captures our vision."
