CBRE has unveiled two key executive appointments today, September 9, with Darren Nugent set to assume the role of Managing Director and Head of Hong Kong Island Office Leasing, while Chan Chun Shan has been named Managing Director and Head of Kowloon Office Leasing. Both appointments will officially commence on January 4, 2027.

This strategic move underscores CBRE's ongoing commitment to enhancing its office leasing platform and delivering market-leading strategic advisory services to tenants, developers, and property owners across Hong Kong's various districts. Both executives will report directly to Vivian Fung, Chief Operating Officer of CBRE Hong Kong Advisory Services.

Darren returns to Hong Kong after a five-year tenure in Australia, where he currently serves as Head of Leasing, Pacific for CBRE. In this capacity, he has been responsible for leading teams across office, industrial and logistics, and retail sectors, alongside advisory service functions. His role has focused on driving strategic growth, deepening client relationships, improving operational efficiency, and delivering integrated real estate solutions for corporate tenants across the region.

Chan Chun Shan began his career with CBRE as a graduate trainee after completing his studies, and has since developed into a trusted expert in corporate real estate advisory. He specializes in providing strategic counsel to multinational corporations on corporate real estate strategy, portfolio optimization, and large-scale complex leasing transactions in the Kowloon and New Territories areas. Chan is widely recognized within the industry for his exceptional market insights, successful execution of numerous landmark leasing deals, and extensive experience in lease restructuring, rent reviews, and exit negotiations. His deep understanding of the Kowloon office market and long-standing relationships with key landlords in the district make him a valuable addition to the leadership team.
