Latest calculations based on September 10 data, the 9th working day of the cycle, show a projected increase of 340 yuan per ton for gasoline and 330 yuan per ton for diesel. In retail terms, this translates to a 0.27 yuan per liter rise for 92-octane petrol, 0.29 yuan per liter for 95-octane petrol, and 0.28 yuan per liter for 0-diesel. For a standard 50-liter fuel tank, the additional cost of a full tank would range from 13.5 to 14.5 yuan.
Current national average reference prices stand at 8.07 yuan per liter for 92-octane petrol, 8.61 yuan per liter for 95-octane petrol, and 7.73 yuan per liter for 0-diesel. Motorists driving fuel-powered vehicles may want to fill up before the midnight deadline to save on upcoming travel expenses.
