Nazhen Technology, a subsidiary under the Hisense conglomerate, is anticipated to kick off its Hong Kong initial public offering as early as September 14, according to sources familiar with the matter. The company is targeting a fundraising amount of approximately US$800 million in this round.

If the listing proceeds as planned, Nazhen Technology would become the sixth publicly traded company under the Hisense umbrella, establishing an independent capital platform for Hisense's semiconductor and optical communications division. This move positions the company to capitalize significantly on the booming artificial intelligence computing power sector.

Nazhen Technology successfully passed the Hong Kong Stock Exchange hearing on August 30, 2026, with Citigroup and CITIC Securities serving as joint sponsors. As a mature supplier of optical communications and connectivity products, the company specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, and sale of optical modules, optical chips, and optical network terminals.

The firm stands out as one of the few global players possessing both the research capabilities and mass production capacity for optical modules and optical chips. Leveraging its diverse portfolio of high-quality products across AI, cloud computing, FTTx, transmission networks, and wireless applications, Nazhen Technology serves a broad range of cloud service providers, telecommunications equipment vendors, and network operators worldwide.

According to data from Frost & Sullivan, Nazhen Technology ranked fifth globally among all professional optical module manufacturers by revenue in 2025, capturing a 4.0% market share. In the Chinese market, the company secured the third position globally among professional optical module makers with a 10.1% market share for the same year.

In the global data communications optical module segment, Nazhen Technology held the fifth spot with a 4.7% market share, while in the global FTTx optical module arena, it ranked third with a 5.4% share. Additionally, in China's optical network terminal box market, the company achieved the second position globally among professional manufacturers, commanding a 5.4% market share.
