Shares of Impro Precision (01286) advanced more than 6% in Hong Kong trading, with the stock recently up 6% at HK$8.475, reflecting a turnover of HK$13.1 million.

Effective September 7, the company has been included in the Stock Connect program, a development that management says will allow eligible mainland investors to directly trade its shares. The company views this as a key step toward broadening its shareholder base and enhancing trading liquidity, while also raising its visibility in both mainland and international capital markets. Additionally, the inclusion underscores the market's strong recognition of Impro's investment value and operational performance.

For the first half of this year, Impro's diversified industrial segment recorded revenue of HK$1.79 billion, marking a 38.7% year-on-year increase. As global AI infrastructure shifts from early-stage investment to a large-scale expansion phase, demand for data center power management, cooling systems, and backup power equipment continues to climb, driving notable growth in related products. Revenue from high-power engine products, used in primary and standby power applications for data centers, reached HK$660 million, up 23.7% year-on-year, while other business revenue, including liquid cooling components, surged 107.6% to HK$410 million.
