Smart manufacturing has become a key engine for upgrading traditional industries. In recent years, Shanxi Hengdong Technology Co., Ltd. has seized industry opportunities by actively reforming its production methods and introducing automated intelligent equipment. This shift has effectively solved the challenges of low efficiency and poor precision found in manual production, leading to significant gains in both product quality and output capacity while supporting the steady growth of the regional building materials supply chain.

Inside the company's production facility, the intelligent laser sawing and milling line, acquired last year, handles precise cutting and drilling of various profiles. The entire operation now requires just one worker, boosting production efficiency by roughly 30%. Zhang Pengju, the factory manager, noted that previously, manual cutting and drilling often led to size deviations. With the intelligent line now in use, everything from profile cutting, milling, and corner assembly to sealing tests is fully automated, with real-time monitoring of production parameters. This strict control over every step has brought precision, air tightness, and insulation of system doors and windows up to high industry standards, drastically cutting human error, raising the product pass rate, and fully unlocking workshop capacity.

The shift to intelligent production has laid a solid hardware foundation for the company. Specializing in doors and windows, Shanxi Hengdong Technology Co., Ltd. integrates design, production, and sales. Using its modern smart manufacturing system, it has steadily expanded its product range and output. With consistently reliable quality, it precisely targets diverse market needs in home renovation and commercial construction, gaining a strong foothold in the regional market. Zhang Pengju added that the company now runs two modern intelligent production lines and has developed three major product series with over a dozen system door and window offerings. Its annual production capacity reaches 100,000 square meters, and the products, known for stable performance, are widely used in residential housing, hotels, and various public buildings, meeting diverse needs in both renovation and engineering projects. Currently, market orders are plentiful and sales channels are stable, with products mainly shipped to surrounding provinces and cities, creating a promising overall production and sales outlook.

In recent years, the company has kept pace with industry policies, placing innovation at its core and focusing on independent product development and process upgrades. At the same time, by leveraging gains in both capacity and quality, it continues to explore new markets and expand operations, aiming to become a leading local building materials brand. Xiao Dongqing, the general manager, explained that in response to policies promoting low-carbon building retrofits, the company is concentrating on independent R&D and design of system doors and windows and deepening its presence in the engineering construction market. Order volumes are steadily climbing, and annual output value remains stable. The company emphasizes brand building and the use of new materials, having established a full-process quality supervision system. Going forward, it will continue to strictly control product quality, expand into external markets, stabilize production capacity, and use superior products to capture market share, driving the growth of the local building materials industry.
