The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and other governmental departments unveiled on September 9th a roster of 11 newly recognized professions, such as port shore management engineering technicians, embodied AI robot application technicians, and sports data analysts. Concurrently, 23 fresh job categories were introduced, including community workers, low-altitude logistics operators, and age-friendly renovation designers, while information for six existing professions or job categories, like agricultural product brokers, was revised or updated.

Among the professions newly released in this batch, five are categorized as digital occupations and three as green occupations. This brings the cumulative totals for officially designated digital and green occupations in China to 113 and 142, respectively.

In the realm of modern service vocations, the newly announced professions and job types cater to both industrial advancement and individual well-being. For instance, roles such as sustainable development planners, airport clearance surveyors, and intelligent agent developers are designed to support corporate growth and industrial upgrades. Meanwhile, positions like incense craft specialists, smart furniture installation technicians, and fresh-cut flower processors directly address the public's desire for an enhanced quality of life.

Since 2019, China has released a total of 121 new professions across eight batches.
