CLSA has released its latest global healthcare sector outlook, highlighting several key investment opportunities. Notably, the firm has initiated coverage on Thermo Fisher with an "Outperform" rating and a price target of $748, offering broad exposure to a biopharmaceutical investment recovery and U.S. manufacturing reshoring as a leading life sciences tools platform.

The firm has also maintained an "Outperform" rating on Switzerland's Lonza, raising its price target from 667 to 759 Swiss francs. CLSA believes its scarce biopharmaceutical manufacturing capacity will help capture growth from localization and outsourcing trends.

In the case of WUXI APPTEC, CLSA has upheld its "Outperform" rating while raising the H-share price target from HK$214.1 to HK$262. Concurrently, the A-share price target for Wuxi Apptec Co.,Ltd. (603259.SH) has been increased from RMB 187.8 to RMB 230. Despite geopolitical concerns, the firm asserts that the company's technological leadership will continue to benefit from rising demand for advanced pharmaceutical outsourcing.

Additionally, Samsung Biologics (207940.KS) has retained its "Outperform" rating with a price target of 1.8 million Korean won. The company is expected to gain from themes including peptide demand driven by the patent cliff, dual sourcing of biologics, and U.S. manufacturing reshoring.
