The event is organized by the Ministry of Education, the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, with implementation support from various provincial and municipal departments, including those focused on talent, human resources, social security, and education, as well as the Dongguan Municipal Government.

Eight campus recruitment sessions are scheduled at Hebei University of Technology (afternoon of September 17), Tianjin Medical University (evening of September 17), Tiangong University (morning of September 18), Nankai University (afternoon of September 18), Tianjin University (morning of September 19), Communication University of China (morning of September 20), Beijing Foreign Studies University (afternoon of September 20), and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (morning of September 21).

Listed companies and specialized "little giant" firms, such as ShengYi Electronics, Marco Polo, DeRUCCI Healthy Sleep, and Bomei Medical, are providing positions for system development engineers, vision engineers, management trainees, and finance specialists. Meanwhile, research platforms like the China Spallation Neutron Source Science Center, the Institute of Materials Science and Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Dongguan, and Greater Bay Area University are recruiting for scientific research roles, including neutron spectrometer scientists, nuclear energy technology engineers, and assistant professors.

Municipal state-owned enterprises and financial institutions, including Dongshi Group, Dongguan Water Affairs and Environment Group, Dongguan Communications Investment Group, and Dongguan Bank, are offering positions in investment analysis, supply chain management, and fintech trainee programs.

The job openings span a wide range of fields, from intensive R&D and advanced scientific research to management functions. In line with industrial demand, nearly 38,000 positions, or around 70%, are focused on emerging and future industries. Specifically, roles in the artificial intelligence sector total close to 10,000, making up more than 18% of all openings. Of these, over 50 positions come with salaries exceeding 500,000 RMB, and some even offer an annual salary of one million RMB.

Located at the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Dongguan is home to over 240,000 industrial enterprises and 15,000 above-scale industrial firms. The city provides generous talent incentives: newly recruited talent can receive up to 100,000 RMB in subsidies, while high-level talent may be eligible for a maximum of 2 million RMB in living allowances and 6 million RMB in housing subsidies. Entrepreneurial projects can secure up to 10 million RMB in funding, and job seekers visiting Dongguan can enjoy free accommodation for up to 15 days.
