Metasurface Technologies Holdings Limited repurchased 200,000 ordinary shares on 4 September 2026 via on-market transactions at a fixed price of HKD 3.56 per share, for a total consideration of HKD 0.71 million.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell to 149.70 million shares, while treasury shares increased to 0.30 million. The buyback equates to 0.133% of the shares outstanding before the purchase.
The repurchase was conducted under the mandate approved by shareholders on 30 June 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 14.99 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 200,000 shares, representing 0.13% of the issued share base on the mandate date.
All repurchased shares are being held in treasury. In accordance with GEM Listing Rules, Metasurface is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 4 October 2026.
The company confirmed that the buyback complied with the Hong Kong GEM Listing Rules and that there have been no material changes to the explanatory statement filed with the Exchange.
