Quantum computing stocks rallied sharply on Tuesday, with all major players in the sector posting significant gains during the trading session.

Rigetti Computing (RGTI.US) climbed nearly 6%, while IONQ Inc. (IONQ.US) jumped over 8%. D-Wave Quantum Inc. (QBTS.US) and Infleqtion (INFQ.US) both surged more than 9%, Quantum Computing Inc. (QUBT.US) advanced over 5%, and Arqit Quantum Inc. (ARQQ.US) gained 5%.

The market move follows a key announcement: both Rigetti Computing and D-Wave Quantum confirmed they have signed definitive agreements with the U.S. Department of Commerce, securing a combined $100 million in funding. The capital will accelerate their research and development programs aimed at addressing critical technical hurdles in the scaling and advancement of superconducting quantum computers.
