PetroChina Parent Boosts Stake in Tanker Terminal Operator With HK$1.21 Million Purchase

Hong Kong stock exchange filings show that on September 1, China Petrochemical Corporation, the state-owned parent of petrochemical giant Sinopec, acquired an additional 326,000 shares in SINOPEC KANTONS (00934). The purchase was executed at a price of HK$3.7173 per share, bringing the total transaction value to approximately HK$1.21 million.

Following this latest acquisition, the parent company's total shareholding in the tanker terminal operator has risen to roughly 1.517 billion shares, representing a 61.00% stake in the company.
