Cong Lin, deputy head of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, stated at a State Council Information Office press conference on September 10, themed around the initial phase of the "15th Five-Year Plan," that the administration will synchronously advance risk prevention, intensified supervision, and high-quality development initiatives during this period.

Efforts will be made to steadily address risk controls in key sectors. The administration plans to forcefully, effectively, and methodically prevent and resolve risks associated with local small and medium-sized financial institutions, firmly maintaining the bottom line of preventing systemic "outbreaks."

Comprehensive reinforcement of the "five major supervisory functions" will be pursued, resolutely implementing rigorous and decisive measures. Financial institutions will be guided to coordinate the execution of the "five key articles," further enhancing support and safeguards for major national strategies, pivotal fields, and vulnerable sectors.
