Shares of PEIJIA-B (09996) climbed more than 3% in Hong Kong trading on Wednesday, with the stock last changing hands at HK$4.915, up 3.04%, on turnover of approximately HK$3.17 million.

The move comes after the company announced on September 11 that its independently developed GeminiOne® transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) system had recently received registration approval from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

The approval of GeminiOne® marks the group's official entry into the commercial treatment space for mitral regurgitation, significantly expanding its transcatheter valve therapy product portfolio beyond its existing footprint in aortic stenosis and aortic regurgitation treatments.

Regarding regulatory progress, the application for EU MDR CE marking of GeminiOne® has been submitted, while the US early feasibility study for the device is currently underway.
