Financial Regulator Outlines Strengthened Credit Support for Key Economic Sectors

At a press conference held on September 10th by the State Council Information Office, which focused on the implementation of the 15th Five-Year Plan within the financial sector, Cong Lin, Deputy Director of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, discussed the agency's roadmap for fostering high-quality development.

During the new planning period, the administration will enhance service guarantees for major strategies, key areas, and weak links in the economy. The plan emphasizes boosting financial support for initiatives aimed at promoting consumption, expanding investment, stabilizing businesses and employment, as well as driving technological innovation.

Furthermore, the regulator will intensify financing efforts for the special projects known as the "Two Major" and "Two New" initiatives, which focus on key infrastructure construction and equipment renewal, respectively.
