BANKCOMM Reports No Change in Share Capital or Float Position for August 2026

Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. (BANKCOMM) filed its Monthly Return for the period ended 31 August 2026 with Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd. on 2 September 2026, confirming a stable capital base and full compliance with public-float rules.

Total authorised share capital closed the month at RMB 133.36 billion, unchanged from July. Key components were: • H-share authorisation: 35.01 billion shares with RMB 1 par value, equal to RMB 35.01 billion. • A-share authorisation: 53.35 billion shares with RMB 1 par value, equal to RMB 53.35 billion. • Domestic preference shares: 0.45 billion shares with RMB 100 par value, equal to RMB 45.00 billion.

Issued share capital also remained flat: 35.01 billion H shares, 53.35 billion A shares and 0.45 billion domestic preference shares, all without any treasury-share positions as at month-end.

The H-share public float exceeded the 5 percent minimum threshold stipulated for PRC issuers, meeting Hong Kong Main Board Rule 13.32B requirements.

No share options, warrants, or other equity instruments were issued, exercised or cancelled during the month. The bank’s RMB 45.00 billion non-cumulative perpetual domestic preference shares, convertible into A shares at RMB 6.25, recorded no conversion activity in August.

Overall, BANKCOMM’s equity structure and liquidity position were unchanged throughout the reporting period, underscoring continued capital stability.
