During IFA 2026, Xiaomi's humanoid robot, CyberOne, made its first-ever appearance outside of China, capturing significant attention from both attendees and the media at the company's exhibition booth.

As observed by onlookers at the scene, the robot responded to its audience with friendly gestures, including waving and flashing a peace sign, effectively engaging with the crowd and creating a buzz on the show floor.

This public showcase follows recent remarks from Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, who revealed on social media that the CyberOne has been undergoing hands-on "internship" training inside the company's automobile factory for several months. During this trial period, the robot has been tasked with working at a self-tapping nut feeding station on both sides of the assembly line, where its task completion success rate has shown remarkable improvement, climbing from 90.2% to an impressive 98%.
