Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) has reported further assays from its ongoing 2026 exploration program at the Maverick silver project in Nevada, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to 89 meters at 70 grams per tonne silver equivalent, comprising 49 g/t silver and 0.2 g/t gold from 126.5 meters, including 38.3 meters at 100 g/t silver equivalent from 134 meters.

The company said antimony mineralization commences well above the current mineral resource estimate and continues through the silver-mineralized sequence, highlighting the potential for antimony mineralization to extend beyond the boundaries of the currently defined silver-gold resource.

The company's shares rose 1% in recent Thursday trade.
