1116 GMT - Lloyds Banking Group is best placed to benefit from the current market environment, BofA Securities analysts say. The U.K. bank's strategy to grow non-interest income is positive in an increasingly competitive U.K. market, the analysts add. Lloyds's confidence in reaching its 20% return on tangible equity target--even in a less favorable rate environment--is also positive, BofA says. "We believe management would be able to deliver on its strategic plan in the medium term," the analysts say. BofA raises its recommendation on the stock to buy from neutral, and increases the price target to 140 pence from 130 pence. Shares are down 0.1% at 109.80 pence, but have risen 11% year to date.
