Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) appointed Eduard Eshuys as non-executive chair, effective Sept. 1, with current Chair Greg Evans stepping down from the role on the same date, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The company said Eshuys is a geologist and mining executive with more than 40 years of experience in mineral exploration, project development, and company leadership throughout Australia.

In the same filing, the company said Chief Executive Chris Oorschot retired from the board with immediate effect and will remain as chief executive until Nov. 30.
