China Energy Engineering Wins 6.44-Billion-Yuan EPC Bid for Shaanxi Power Plant

China Energy Engineering (SHA:601868) subsidiary Northwest Electric Power Design Institute won an engineering, procurement and construction contract for the Zhaoshipan power plant phase two project in Shaanxi, China for a bid amount of 6.44 billion yuan.
The project includes two 1,000-megawatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired units and environmental facilities for desulfurization, denitrification and dust removal, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Construction is expected to take about 31 months.
