Theta Gold Mines Completes First Drawdown of $37 Million Under Bond Financing; Shares Up 3%

Theta Gold Mines (ASX:TGM) completed the first drawdown under its bond financing arranged with Nordic bond and debt capital markets specialist Pareto Securities, receiving $37 million in proceeds, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company can draw up to $90 million under the bond financing, with the remaining balance available for progressive drawdown to match the funding requirements of the TGME project in South Africa, the filing said.
Shares rose nearly 3% in morning trade Thursday.
