BKV Plans $400 Million Private Debt Offering; Shares Down Pre-Bell

BKV (BKV) plans a $400 million private offering of convertible senior unsecured notes due Oct. 15, 2031, the company said Wednesday.

BKV expects to grant the initial purchasers an option to buy up to an additional $60 million of notes.

The company plans to use the net proceeds for share repurchases in connection with the offering, among other things, it said.

BKV shares were down 6.6% in premarket activity.
