Rakus' Consolidated Sales Rise 1.8% in August

Rakus' (TYO:3923) consolidated sales rose 1.8% year on year in August to 4.88 billion yen from 4.80 billion yen a year earlier, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Cloud business sales climbed 17.4% to 4.88 billion yen from 4.16 billion yen, while monthly recurring revenue increased 16.7% to 4.55 billion yen from 3.9 billion yen.

By product, Rakuraku Seisan sales jumped 11.6% to 1.87 billion yen and Rakuraku Meisai sales surged 21.4% to 1.25 billion yen.

IT outsourcing business was excluded from the company's scope of consolidation for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.

Shares of Rakus rose more than 7% at market close.
