Franco-Nevada (FNV) has agreed to provide a financing package worth 200 million Australian dollars ($142.8 million) to further support Minerals 260's Bullabulling Gold Project, the company said over the weekend.

The gold-focused royalty and streaming company will acquire an additional AU$170 million gross royalty from Minerals 260 and will subscribe for AU$30 million of Minerals 260's ordinary shares as a lead order in a future equity raise, it said.

The follow-on package adds to the AU$220 million Franco-Nevada committed in February, bringing its total financial support for the project to AU$420 million.

The latest investment, which will be funded with cash on hand, will increase Franco-Nevada's gross royalty interest in Bullabulling to nearly 3.9% from 2.45%, it added.
